Final Fantasy VII. FINAL FANTASY VII is the seventh main installment in the FINAL FANTASY series, developed and published by Squaresoft. It was the first title in the series to feature three-dimensional graphics, pre-rendered backgrounds and numerous full motion videos. The gameplay is a departure from previous entries in the series in many ways. Final fantasy 8, like its predecessor Final fantasy 7, is presented as a rpg game with turn base battle system. Published and developed for Playstation in 1999 by squaresoft (now square enix). The game starts with Squall Lionheart, a member of an elite military force known as Seed - deployed by Balamb Garden for various missions.
