Microsoft does not offer any version of Office that runs in Mac OS 10.10.5. LibreOffice is a free office suite based on much older code, and it is supported in Mac OS 10.10.5. I think you will find LibreOffice is your best bet because it can open and save in current file types that an old version of Microsoft Office won't be able to.

If your Mac can support a later version of macOS, then you could update to the latest supported version and by an actual copy of Office instead of the Office 365 subscription.

Edit: I should add there is no way to know how long these third party browsers will continue support of Yosemite. I really don't expect them to support Yosemite for much longer.

The current Apache OpenOffice supports Apple OS X version 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.11 (El Capitan) and macOS 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (High Sierra), 10.14 (Mojave), 10.15 (Catalina).

The last OpenOffice version supporting Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard) is OpenOffice 4.0.1.
