How to copy and paste rows or columns in reverse order in Excel?
I have a series of formula in one sheet (Sheet1) in excel placed horizontally, more than a hundred of them, say from cells B26 to FO26. I want to copy the result of the formula in another sheet (Sheet 2) but vertically, say in A2 to A168. Hi all Bit of a simple question I expect so hoping someone can help. I have a table of numbers that run horizontally from A2:J2. What I want to do is copy these to somewhere else on the sheet but to run Vertically so to run from say M2:M11 What I tried first was copying the whole selection of numbers area and repasting this by selecting the paste area as what I wanted vertically. Dana’s answer would be easy if it were not for the word “link.” If you wanted to paste a static copy of the table, it would be easy to use the Transpose checkbox in the Paste Special dialog to turn the data sideways. To accomplish that maneuver, follow these steps: 1. Select the vertical data. Type Ctrl C to copy. We can apply Excel’s (Paste) Transpose feature to copy a row horizontally and then paste as a column vertically or vice versa in Excel. Select the row you will copy horizontally, right click and select the Copy from the right-clicking menu. See screenshot: 2. Oblivion console commands carry weight.
